DEVLOG 1: You Can't Stick Pencils In Potatoes

Hi. My name is Alexis Sosa. This is my first blog post. It was not easy to find how to do this, just a forewarning. Maybe I'm just brain dead.
Anyway, here's an update.
I have a working sub machine gun, shotgun, and set of pistols with ammunition and magazine sizes. You can swap to your active melee weapon at any time. Once you have them equipped, you must go back to a supply area to re-equip your items.
As it stands, there is a very simple melee combo process involved. It branches from your light primary to heavy secondary and vice versa. If you use heavy after your first light, you will use a quick finisher. If you use heavy after your second light, you will use a combo move that can be finished with a final right click, or continued and looped around with a left click. I want the combat to be engaging, reward practice but still be fast and not too flashy. Utilitarian.
Enemies have no AI currently but will seek cover and be using weapons. Your character, along with the enemies, will die extremely quickly. To circumvent this, you are able to see a large portion of the map. Very inspired by Hotline Miami, where you should plan out accordingly room-to-room.

Along with the ultra violence intended, I would like beautiful moments of clarity. The duality of nature is present in all things, man, machine, or otherwise, and we must respect this, lest we fall into the most violent parts of ourselves in an effort to suppress them.
That's enough of today's spiel! You can see the video for a bit of update. Next week I'll have a bit more fleshed out. :)
